No prophet or a Magi can stir the foundation of my own prophecy, If you require worship, I will give it to you, request anything away even blasphemy... Chapter 50 - The Anchor and the Threshold

Sakura's hand hesitated over the water basin, the warm, damp cloth suddenly feeling as heavy as lead. The old title of affection for her sister had slipped out against her will, carrying with it a tangled knot of childhood longing and deep, rusted resentment. Despite all the years of silence, the… (edited) read more

How's my bladesinger build?

I'm the off-tank and only other melee character to help a useless barbarian who attacks the party. The campaign is Critical Role's Candela Obscura but set in WW2 1940s London. The DM keeps the party so poor, so I have no scrolls or magic items at L8... Luckily the DM has homebrew house rule… read more

But the DM thinks entirely removing spell absorption and storing charges, and leaning into expanding the wizard L1 prepared spells and L2 arcane recovery features is still overpowered?! Instead she gives me 10 charges + enspelled feature?! Her option is more powerful, so why refuse my original… read more

I'm getting my Synthetic Staff of Science!!

As soon as the DM heard I wanted to craft a heavily nerfed Staff of the Magi, she seriously considered and finally agreed, and for cheap too (125gp vs 30,000gp). My design features replaced the spell absorption and charging features with more defensive survivability features, and magic flexibility,… read more

INTP - Natural Magi?

If this were back in the Dark Ages with INTP's natural proclivity towards experiment and study wouldn't they have been considered Mages when they applied their knowledge practically?

Rewinding Time is to Have a Memory

> “People's feelings are memories that transcend time. We pass on our hopes and dreams, our pain and suffering, from one person to the next. They live on in others, in the hearts of those we touch.
