"I'm just being honest"

It’s one of the most common excuses people use after hurting someone with their words. No. Honesty and compassion are not opposites. They’re not mutually exclusive. They can — and must — coexist. One can be kind and honest. But that requires patience, awareness, the right intention, and… read more

CONFUSION

English is a confusing language. Why do we pronounce "colonel" like "kernel"? Did someone spill alphabet soup on the dictionary and just go with it? And "knight"? You’d think it would rhyme with "night," but no, let’s throw in a silent “k” because it wasn’t complicated enough already. You read a… read more

So, you know how boo has an option of "best way to ask me out" to fill in your profile? And so far every person I saw choose that one wrote something like "I don't get social clues, just ask". And that's fine I guess, people letting others know that they are a bit clueless, but those are boring… (edited) read more

You're not too much trouble .

I find comfort in your silent smiles. Your energy slows me down in this chaotic world. I love when you cry at movies. You don't need to say sorry for being tired.
