Exactly. I will never chase after anyone. If someone wants to go, then I'll let them go. I don't chase after anyone, I don't compete with anyone, for someone's attention, affection or time. And I shouldn't have to. If someone truly cared about me like they say they do, then none of this would ever be an issue. It's a red flag to me, when someone says they want to be chased or suggests that they want to be chased. I don't have the time, patience or energy to dedicate to playing into someone's narcissism and stroking their already inflated ego. If they don't like that, then they can leave. Find some other sucker to toy with. And I make it clear that the minute they walk out the door, don't even think about coming back. I couldn't care less about relationships in the first place, and I'm not about to wear myself down and stress myself out chasing after something that I am indifferent to, in the first place. To me wanting to be chased is such a massive red flag, it's so childish and tells me that she has a needy, over inflated ego and that she has no intention of reciprocating any effort I put in to the relationship. It's never worth it without at least an attempt near equal and consistent reciprocation.
