Movieeee time!!

Does anyone else feel like Kevin's family is mean to him. Not just Buzz for bullying him but everyone. Like he is 8 and no one was willing to help him pack, no one was talking nicely to him all of them calling him names (which sure he'd call them names back but he learned it honestly) and not to mention the moment Buzz and everyone ate all the cheese pizza, so much happened so to him trying to "fight" Buzz but most of it wasn't his fault. The milk cups falling over was he knocked buzz into them but his dad jumping up and knocking over the 2 liter which no one bothered to pick up, uncle let it poor into his lap and jumped up and all the stuff with that. But all blame was put on Kevin. I know it's how the movie is set up so he's alone in the attic but I feel like it all just comes off as everyone being mean to Kevin. They could have definitely done it differently were Kevin was the only one really making trouble.

For me: I’m guessing ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2. Planning to watch it later this evening, but if your tired of the Christmas Carol story as well as it’s many versions, then perhaps you’ll like the story of its creation as this is a film biopic showing how Charles Dickens creating the iconic story of A Christmas Carol. I’ve seen the film a few times and while not as memorable as say How the Grinch Stole Christmas or A Christmas Story doesn’t mean it’s bad by any means. Good performances and moments where Dickens talks with his creations are good though story/plot (not the Carol plot) is pretty predictable. 

I recommend seeing it a least once if your interested .

A lot seems driven by nostalgia  these days . Old boxers returning and sequels to films that came out in the 80's , 90's or 2000s. 

2025 seems to be  almost all sequels and remakes.

Watching the Santa Clause with my daughter

Absolutely loved this movie!! As both an anime and Tolkien/LOTR enjoyer this was a really fun watch! Héra was an absolute baddie, and Helm, Haleth, and Hama were amazing characters as well! 🤩 Just a badass family in a story that revisits Middle Earth, but from the perspective of a Shieldmaiden of Rohan.⚔️🐴
