What's a movie you loved as a teen that you can see now is not great?

I'll start. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. There. I said it. It's not funny enough: almost all the humor is first level, like it wants some womp-womp trombones or a laugh track. It has a fun premise, and a cute story. But it needs to be funnier. Whatchu got?

A Scanner Darkly

Who else loves the film (and the book) A Scanner Darkly? I think it was made at the start of Robert Downey Jnr's comeback. My favourite scene is the Sins of Charles Freck, which is a failed attempt at suicide, resulting in a creature from the 8th dimension reading his list of sins endlessly.

I liked this movie even with the mix reviews about this one. But, I maybe biased for I love the actress. Still, i really enjoyed this movie minus the part that they glorified cheating (ick). 4.5/5 stars 😉
