Yes and no... yes because I was a horrible person so thats the only people I met and no because sometimes terrible people are attracted to good people.

Our brains are pattern-finding/seeking machines. In the dynamics of human attraction and social pair-bonding - both consciously and subconsciously - we are invariably drawn to things which we ourselves find/have familiarity with - which, in-turn, translates into comfort and understanding. It is this which is the basis, and often the impetus for what we call "having a connection" with someone.
