In my opinion, no, it is not acceptable. It’s acceptable to have celeb crushes but no partner should feel like they have to compete for their partner’s love just because they are constantly reminded of this obsession. An obsession with a fantasy version of a celebrity their partner will likely never meet in person. 🙄
