We talk about “freedom of religion,” but no one wants to question religious conversion. If faith is truly personal, why does it sometimes come with persuasion and organized efforts? In a country like India, where religion is deeply tied to culture and identity, is conversion always just individual choice, or does it affect communities too? Before calling it absolute freedom, maybe we should ask where choice ends and influence begins.

Out of curiosity cause I'm tired of the hate, what's a religion or something similar you believe and follow? What's one thing you like about it?
I personally don't take "sides" altho I find some concepts as reincarnation for example really interesting. It leaves room for exploration and learning opportunities about how different people are. And as for what happens after death, we'll wait and see but I'm open that anything can be true

Al-Mashun Grand Mosque is one of the Sultan of Deli remains historical building and still used by Moslems for praying daily.

This mosque is about two hundred meter far from Maimoen Palace which was built in 1906 by Sulthan Ma'moen Al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah and for the first time used on September 19, 1909.

This Grand Mosque has an architectural style that combines European, Mughal, Indian, Spanish, Middle Eastern and Malay elements.

The mosque was originally designed by Van Erp, a Dutch architect, and then constructed by JA Tigdeman.

Some of the materials used in the construction of the Al Mashun Grand Mosque were imported from abroad, such as marble from Italy and Germany, stained glass from China and chandeliers imported directly from France.

What is faith and do all of you who claim to have it truly get it most so called people of faith dont truly have faith they question they doubt they think the god they claim to believe in makes mistakes that they are not who they are supposed to be they are being short changed or are owed more from this life others claim to speak for god to know God's will but also lack faith and are arrogant and full of hubris they claim their god needs them to act on God's behalf others kill in the name god or try to force their beliefs on others none of these represent faith in any one but themselves thats narcissism thats not faith faith is belief despite the absence of proof its not twisting beliefs to serve ones own self interest faith is either absolute or its not faith at all you can't claim to believe when its convenient then say god is wrong when its inconvenient most religion is twisted and used to control the poor masses and to benefit a select few thats why they pass the plate and claim and all powerful being who spoke the universe into existence needs your money if you buy that I have some ocean front property in Iowa I would like to sell you

In Freudian psychology, the concept of the Impulse Drive could be described as your soul. In neuroscience they call it The Limbic System. Souls are fungible and not linked to identity, that is a huge concept in spirituality if im not mistaken. The idea that we all experience the same soul at our cores, that same divine connection. Your soul is your emotions.

There is also the concept of the Superego, where our memories and attitudes are stored that give us personality. Idk where neuroscience places this, hippocampus or something. But this is a fungible aspect of our identity, and can be written down, or shared via communication. That is what I believe is our Spirit. Your spirit is your beliefs.

Lastly there is the concept of the Ego, which is your consciousness that links the soul and spirit, as well as all your senses. And if you were to write your life story in a book before passing, you would transfer your spirit, but it becomes a Ghost when the spirit leaves its original Ego.

So this builds up to religion. Does this description match religious uses of the terms like "holy ghost" or "holy spirit"? Like the Holy Spirit/Ghost is written into the bible and youre meant to read it to recieve it within your own spirit right?
Or when someone says you need jesus, theyre saying you need to make your spirit like his right? (Loving/forgiving)

And god is Love, like... Agape Love. And the Will of God is Love. And the root of all love is the soul/emotion (i could elaborate if needed). So isnt the soul a fungible manifestation of God's Will? The soul that drives self love, and causes evil when self-love conflicts with anothers' self-love. Creating a need for the holy spirit to guide the way for harmonious coexistence? Like... Im atheist but this is making a whole lotta sense in a scientific way. Does it make a whole lotta sense in a religious way?

What parts of religion cant be simply viewed as metaphors for how our spirit should align itself? It seems to me science and religion can align with definitions like these for the soul and spirit/ghost

Ok, before you all point out that I believe in science, I basically don't say that either. All I'm trying to say is that maybe God that exist isn't purely identified yet.

Call me crazy or "devil-worshipper" but, out of all God's proclaimed existance, do Gods exist or the ones that their proclaimed God doesn't exist?

Church is a man who only works an hour a week standing up in front of a room full of people on their only day off and telling them they need to do more

All religions require faith. If you believe in your religion why not believe in yourself? The books are old but the teachings apply still. It falls on your shoulders to apply those teachings in our current world.
Be safe, be kind and know that you are appreciated.
