Many people don't understand that having a romantic relationship is getting committed to one person forever no matter what happens. So, The idea of a relationship has gotten skewed over the years in human society....so they don't find anything wrong in moving on the moment they feel they got something better. It's like you are giving them vanilla ice-cream everyday....they love it the first few days but after a month...you give them Strawberry ice-cream along with Vanilla icecream...most will choose strawberry. What I mean to say is that people have started equating persons as just objects and no more deep :( (edited)

Wow.
I very recently realized that I have difficulty receiving love. Creating a safe space for others comes naturally. Nurturing, listening, and comforting others is easy for me… but allowing myself to receive the same is extremely difficult. Does anyone else have issues with this?
