Recently a friend of mine got broken up with because they didn't 'put out' enough towards their partner's sexual advances, when said advances were not romantic in nature and didn't make my friend feel good. I have also experienced similar things, where romance seems to be skipped over and treated as secondary to those types of advances. Does anybody else feel that this is becoming more prevalent as time goes by? At times, I almost feel weak for being a vulnerable romantic-type, as it feels that people would rather have a quick fix with a stable and confident man instead, which I cannot exactly pretend that I am.
