The rain was coming down in sheets, and the wind was howling like a banshee. It was the perfect night for a love letter. I sat down at my desk and opened a fresh piece of paper. I took a deep breath and began to write. "Dearest Holly , I've been thinking about you all day. I can't believe it's been two years since we first met. It feels like just yesterday we were sitting across from each other at that coffee shop, talking for hours. I still remember the way you made me laugh. The way you looked at me with those big, brown eyes. The way your hand felt in mine. I've never felt this way about anyone before. You're everything I've ever wanted in a partner. You're kind, funny, intelligent, and beautiful. I know I'm not perfect. I can be messy and forgetful. But I promise to love you unconditionally. I'll always be there for you, through thick and thin. I love you more than words can say. Love always, Bamsi I folded the letter and sealed it in an envelope. I addressed it to (name) and put it in my pocket. I knew I couldn't wait to see her face when she read it. The next day, I went to her house and knocked on the door. She opened it and smiled when she saw me. "Hi," she said. "What's up?" "I have something for you," I said. I handed her the envelope. She took it and opened it. As she read the letter, her eyes widened and her lips curled into a smile. When she was finished, she looked up at me and said, "This is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever written to me." She leaned in and kissed me. It was the perfect moment. The End
