Internal conservation
What if the law of conservation of energy doesn't mean what we think it does? Hear me out; It's got to do with black holes. (This is all hypothetical of course) What if black holes are like "eggs" of reality? The matter that it absorbs is like an egg being fertilized. If the fertilization fails ... the black hole starts to lose mass. If the fertilization is successful, then either; A. The event horizon forms as a shell to protect the infant universe before it buds off Or B. The"fertilized" universe buds off to start a big bang... therefore making a new universe This might even help explain the matter/antimatter disparity. I haven't done all the mathematics to properly test it... but so far.. it's hopeful. One possible effect of this is, universes of different sizes. We budded from a larger universe. Those universes that bud from us might be smaller because of this. Then the universe conserves the energy it had upon it's birth .. because there is no energy going in or out of the system (universe). There might be a tie in to higher dimensions... I'm still going through that though. What do you think?

I never thought of it that way. You've got an interesting perspective. Who knows, you might be onto something here. I'm willing to bet that you've encountered someone claiming to know everything about science or adopting a know-it-all persona, which likely led your conversation nowhere.

I think your understanding of black holes is certainly nonstandard. Do you think that the start of black holes are remnants of supernovae or from some other initial source? Regardless, black holes pretty much definitionally exist when there is an event horizon. No event horizon, no black hole.

What nerdy thing are you geeking out about right now?
I heard in the news that somebody figured out how to stabilize batteries with silicone anodes. Meaning they can make batteries that have 10 times the power. Or rather last 10 times as long. I find that very exciting.

That's what I get for trying to help.
So, I'm trying to work someone through a toothache tonight. They said: "I'm taking Advil. It still hurts, the bartender is bringing me a shot of whiskey to swish." I said, "Don't listen to bartenders, swishing whiskey in your mouth doesn't work, the oils and spices make the cavity burn. Trust... (edited) read more

Hi! I'm Mai, I study Biotechnology and I would like to share a little bit of my work with you <3 This microorganism is called Penicillium Roqueforti (like the cheese) and in fact, it is responsible for giving Roquefort cheese its particular smell. Ice Clouds over a Red Planet
If you could stand on Mars, what might you see? A Galaxy of Stars ✨️🌟✨️
This galaxy is unusual for how many stars it seems that you can see. Stars are so abundantly evident in this deep exposure of the spiral galaxy NGC 300 because so many of these stars are bright blue and grouped into resolvable bright star clusters. Additionally, NGC 300 is so clear because it is... read more
