Badminton Time 🏸

We're a small country with only 18M people, we have no mountains for skiing or snowboarding, nowadays it's uncommon for our rivers and lakes to freeze to ice skate, and we still manage to get 11 Olympic gold medals so far. This is crazy, we're 3rd of the entire world, behind a very impressive Norway and Olympic powerhouse USA. There's still some events left, so we might fall out of the top 3, but this achievement is something that makes me a proud Dutchie!

People can be so mean, but honestly, it just makes me laugh at this point. I was having a perfectly platonic conversation with someone when they suddenly snapped at me. They asked if I was watching the Super Bowl today, and I politely mentioned that I’m not really into it and don't usually watch.
​Instead of just moving on, they called me 'dumb' and 'stupid,' claiming that knowing about the Super Bowl is 'basic world knowledge.' I tried to explain that where I’m from, Football and basketball are the main sports. I pointed out that outside of North America, most people don’t follow American football or ice hockey, but they just got even angrier and more defensive. They doubled down on calling me stupid before finally blocking me.
​I honestly feel a bit of self-pity for even engaging with someone like that, but mostly, I just find it hilarious how worked up people get over a game! 😂

We care so much about athletes and team affiliates gambling and I get it the whole points shaving thing but I think players and athletes should be able to bet on themselves only to win and not by so many points or whatever but if they want to bet their game check on themselves to go out and kick ass I say they should be able to do it they are already betting that any way so lets reward them when they do does any one really have a problem with that if so why like I said they bet on themselves already that they will play well and come out of each game healthy enough to play the next one im not saying they have to bet on themselves but they should have that option the greats will do it or not but they will still be great to us but let the guys that dont make a 100 million dollars get some extra cheddar for playing like those other guys that are breaking the bank I think its a good idea and this will help other gamblers if a guy is feeling good and bets on himself then the public will see that as a good time to bet too for or against based on how often and how much a player bets on themselves we are aloud to bet on or against them its only fair they get to bet on themselves too
