Clean your computer.
This is your call. Have you dusted out your laptop ever? Have you had a look at your PC's heat sinks? This is your call to rid your precious device of dust and debris. The primary reason for removing dust isn't just for asthetic purposes. No, the primary reason for removing dust in the short term regulates the temperature of your computer and in the long run helps it last longer. Dust acts as an inhibitor to heat transfer. Your computer will generate heat as a byproduct of the work it is doing. When your phone gets hot, when your laptops keyboard gets toasty, and when your PC fans ramp up, your device is generating heat and trying to dissipate it. You want your computer to get as close as it can to its maximum performance before it reaches its maximum temperature. When you have lots of dust, your device cannot transfer heat as effectively, thus, your computer will be privy to the stress and strain of overheating, leading to performance losses that can manifest as slowdowns, lag, and even shutdown. In the worst case, you can kill your computer. Take the time today to either bring your device (laptop, desktop, death ray) to your local computer repair shop, not a large corporate company, but the small local owned shop, or take the time to learn how to clean your PC yourself. Your PC will thank you, and you will be surprised how much dust you will find. If you do dedust yourself, make sure to take it outside.
