If your mind could be in a virtual vacation, while your body was at work, what would that be like? Visualizing pleasant distracting environments used to help people reach calm states. Now, most of these environments are annoying, or don't exist anymore. I used to play video, and computer, games to escape reality. Now, I think too many people are having trouble staying in the real world. So, your mind is now playing out a scenario, like a dream, where you are your favorite main character from a book, movie, story, video game, computer game, etc... Your body is busy working a 9-5 job in the real world. What is the future like, and would you ever want to wake up to find out?

Realistically I'm sure it would cause a lot of issues with perception of reality, especially in those suffering from certain mental conditions. That switch back and forth after hours in the dream-like reality every day where it's so real would be hard. I'd probably still want it though. Escape the dredge of labor for a favor of an adventure though a magical land? Hell yea. (edited)
