I’ve been working on a fictional story about emotions and how they can be overwhelming or amazing. One of the plotlines i’m trying to address is the idea that if you don’t choose who you love, then does that mean all love violates autonomy? Or, maybe love is defined BY the choices we make, and not the enotions we feel. I’m trying to decide which definition of love to use but I can’t decide which one is more comonly used. How fo you define love?

To me it seems like you want to make multiple books to explore both themes of love. I do think either theme can work but don’t forget to use or even compare love in more simpler terms. Like what is Motherly or Fatherly love. What is sacrificing love worth for. I do like how you narrowed down your choices but don’t mistake the forest to being just trees. Personally to me, love is an action which is why people say they fell in love or fell out of love. What actions do you do to show your love to the people that you care for.
