Fight, flight, or freeze
Everyone has occasions where one reaction wins out over the others, but it does seem as though the most common reaction to stress is to freeze up. I’ve spent a while thinking about how to find people who fall into either the fight or flight mode as a default among the “freeze” masses. Do you know… read more

Why do you believe in zodiac signs? It is a pointless concept; it never fosters any genuine connection between people—on the contrary, it only breeds hatred, division, and conflict among groups of people.

Dating apps are a study of human behaviour. People seek love, validation or escape. Sometimes a promising connection suddenly fades. Yet I’ve found more meaningful conversations among strangers sharing their experiences. Perhaps connection is easy to find. Consistency is the rarity.⚜️

What Is Your Greatest Fear?
We are all afraid of something. Loneliness, death, rejection, or losing someone we love. People often say, “I’m not afraid of anything.” Yet most of us experience fear when something matters to us. Sometimes, fear wakes us up in the middle of the night. Other times, simply imagining a difficult… read more

A Walk Among the Giants.🌲
One of my paintings from my intermediate painting days. A Redwood forest, a quiet pathway, and a little bench waiting for someone to pause and appreciate the beauty of nature. My technique was still developing back then, but every brushstroke was part of the journey. Looking back, I realize that… read more

A Little Reminder from a Collared Dove: You Are Never Alone 🕊️🌿
Today, I was sitting in the garden, thinking about how I am in Spain now and how, somehow, life keeps sending me from one place to another. And there I was, feeling a little trapped in a labyrinth of thoughts, caught in the idea that I have to leave again. Every time I find myself somewhere, I… read more

Among the temple bells🔔🛕✨🪷 and whispered prayers, leaving a little worry behind and carrying a little peace home. The beauty here goes deeper than the architecture—it’s in the quiet harmony of sitting on these ancient steps, surrounded by faith and the gentle presence of the animals.

She is...
She is green... she is yellow, and right beside her, time stands still. She is purple... She is red, the one I talk to, the one who truly sees me. She is orange... Romance & Masculinity
As I talk big game in my yet-to-be-finished Bio, I thought I'd best provide a real-life example of what Romance and Masculinity mean to me and the role they play in my life. The point I am hoping to get across is that, for me, romance, to be a romantic, is a way of life, connected directly with… (edited) read more

They say, “Aim for the moon; even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” Convenient fiction. Sometimes you miss the moon, miss the stars, and fall hard enough to make the ground you started from look like heaven.
