I have a constant inner monologue/voice, there is no off switch for my conscious voice, which is why I can't meditate or clear my mind to save my life lmao. I recently found out that it is quite rare for someone to have an inner monologue that doesn't stop/shut up and even Nikola tesla had a brain like that and Albert Einstein. Really interesting.

Did you know that majority of people lack a consistent inner monologue/voice? Most people only experience their inner voice when reading or problem solving and it's usually fragmented and not consistent.

Did you know that FPS games(First Person Shooters) were originally created by and meant for the military to train soldiers into getting used to killing things? Interesting little fact I came across a while ago lol

The more you know!

At first, my name wasn't going to be Jessica. My mother had actually chosen Nayara, and since I wasn't registered on the same day I was born, she called me that for a week.

My father then decided, without consulting her, to change it, after a character in a soap opera who became very famous here and a song, called Jessica, released around the same time. Incidentally, because of this, many girls that year were named Jessica. Back my days as a student, I was never the only one in the classroom, there were usually two others or at least one more. And I studied at 5 different schools until I was a teenager.

When my dad came back from the registry office, my mom said she got really mad at him and they didn't speak to each other for several days. I sometimes joke that I've had an identity problem since I was in her womb. The times she did the ultrasound, I was somehow in a way that wasn't possible to identify my gender and the doctor assured I was a boy. Well, I'm not a boy, neither Nayara.

I like my name.
"Jessica", spelled like this, first appeared in William Shakespeare's play “The Merchant of Venice” (1596).
When I was a child, I read in a book that perhaps he was inspired by the Hebrew name "Yishay", which means "full of riches/wealthy", "the Lord exists" or "God's gift", and is the feminine form of Jesse; but the most accepted theory is that it's based on an another Hebrew name: "Iscah", which means "contemplate/behold".

I find the fact that it has 7 letters very interesting, the same number of days in the week, colors in the rainbow, musical notes, wonders of the world, seas, etc. And as a Christian, I feel very honored that the first 3 letters are the same as the name Jesus.
