WIP...
"This Way, Alice" 🎨 So this is my first time using this medium. And WOW, I'm really starting to see how gouache is way more pigmented than watercolor. I bought the set to try out while seeing new places, believing art and exploration go hand-in-hand (a belief that my creative friends rubbed off on me). It's truly humbling working through the discomfort: feeling like a noob, making so many mistakes, doubting my creative skills, pausing to consider whether I should scrap the whole thing 💀🙈 Buuut. I'm having fun. I'm getting paint all over my face and making my special people smile. I'm learning a lot and growing despite the negative voices in my head. There's beauty in the chaos and discomfort too. 🥹🙏 #workinprogress #gouache #painting

Painted my cat Misa!
Did a paint and sip workshop with my family. Only the 2nd time I've painted in my adult life. I'm not impressed by my work but everyone I've shown it to seems to like it. I wish I attempted to paint her whiskers but that seems really difficult at the time.
