Work in progress but might not finish at all lmao #dating

New project

Here's the basic idea

I like the fancy bezel wire

Don't know if I'm gonna make it into a pendant or a ring

It looks surprisingly nice in the dark

The flowers are so hard to do

Gonna try my best to salvage it

I think I was too obsessed with making it a cylinder

I had to go through a couple iterations but I like where it's headed The only thing I was looking at box templates that I can just throw into photoshop but every one I come across refuses to do something this small

In the process of making the half frame versiom

The lantern fits a bit more snug here There's some more steps I need to do before I finish this but it looks probably, I wish I could mass produce these

Finally put up the last two shelves

Now my workspace is more or less done I would have liked to get a forge or smelting pot and a 3d printer but that's just not in the cards right now

Alright now i can make different designs

I'll probably still try to finish this

It doesn't look terrible with the etched design

Let's see how I screw it up

I'm gonna mar the outside and then go over it with some resin

Hopefully it will make some interesting patterns for the resin to fill in. I don't know if this is a good idea but it sounded like one in my head

I got some double sided tape today

I wanted to test out the attachment mechanism I had an idea for These magnets are pretty strong I'll think about other arrangements for these magnets

As a concept it isn't terrible

But I'm still bad at engraving designs by hand
