What we do...

I believe the usefulness of the artist to help people see things in a different way. To help them feel new things. To shift another's consciousness. Not to just create pretty things. Or ugly things depending on your style. Art should expand the view of the viewer. Change and influence. If not this what purpose does art serve? What is it good for besides decoration? As an artist I take this very seriously. All of my work besides the paintings are created from repurposed materials in the hope that the viewer may realize that garbage can be something more. That nothing has to be waste or wasted. Some people think I'm preachy. That I should shut up and paint. I disagree. Anything can be art. Even words. So my brothers and sisters, when you see a post of mine know that I am just doing what I do. Making art, and if it makes you feel something or expands or changes your point of view then in my humble opinion it's good art. Even if some don't like it. I don't preach my friends. I'm simply using a different medium. So dont judge me too harshly if it upsets you. Especially if it upsets you. That's my job you see. I'm an artist.
