Rune Knight or Echo Knight?

So my campaign is wrapping up soon. But a friend of mine told me that our DM wants to run another campaign right after this one. He wants to get the Vecna Eve of Ruin book and run that campaign. So my play style is more of a front line warrior. I have experience with Paladin, Barbarian, Monk, and even Bloodhunter(tried playing the edge lord type, it didn’t end well). This time around I thought I’d go Fighter. I’ve decided to go Mountain Dwarf with a polearm, Halbert(Customized to be a Dwarven Urgosh). Now what I’m debating on is the subclass. I’ve narrowed it down to Echo Knight and Ruin Knight. What are your thoughts on the two?

Rune Knight if you wanna get big. Also theres the flavor of adding runes to your items, which match up with what Moradin does. Echo knight feels a little broken due to their main gimmick not having a resource limit. I believe you can summon the echo as many times as you want though you can only have 1 (2 at higher levels) out at a time. At the end of all this, it's what you want to do and have fun.
