Council of thieves: enter the homeland

Hey everyone. This is an update on my last post about my campaign. We met the players now we see the world state. The country cheliax is currently in control of house Thrune. They took over over a hundred years ago after the fall of aroden led to a civil war. Those who sides with thrune was given a reward. Those who didn't, like house drovenge, are weakend and seen as a joke. Around this time, shadow beasts started to pop up in the Old Capitol, West crown. This forces a curfew before sundown to protect the city. Unfortunately, only the rich and busier districts got light to help guide their way home. The poorer ones did not. Their only way home is the modern time is a friendly half dragon helping them home. To make matters worse, the local guard, the Dottari, are bought for silence and favors from the nobles. While they get away with everything, the locals with no money get harsh punishments. The hell knights order of the rack make it much worse arresting anyone they suspect with contraband (old documents against thrune, artifacts that they shouldn't, etc.) this leads to a local group to take action. Bring West crown back to it's former glory and free the public from the constraints of the corrupt government and nobility. And the best people to help, are on their way today to discuss what they can do. That's it for now. Next time I'll tell what happened in the campaign. Hope you all enjoy it!
