This is epoxy resin, and I still can't figure bubbles out

Epoxy and acetone, but created 4 layers depending on the state of the epoxy I think (edited)

One final post on the subject of speakers, which incidentally is one of my day jobs! The "spider" is part of the speaker cone suspension that sits under the cone and is the second way that it is supported or connected to the frame. There is a cylindrical voice coil that sits in a magnetized gap,… read more

I love working with epoxy resin, although it is not easy, but it seems like things are suspended in time forever... it's just magical! 😍
I have been experimenting with epoxy resin and I am thrilled! There are sooo many things that can be done with it! Anyone else into it? Feel free to share pics of your creations or any useful advice is welcome since I am completely new at this 😊 #jewlerymaking #art (edited)
I made a clay model, then molded it in silicon, then poured epoxy resin in the mold, then I painted the eyes and dots on!

Almost finished with this project. It's all wood except the field of red and gold, that epoxy. Border,: Indian rosewood Peddles: padouk Triangles: padouk, canarywood, zebrawood and bloodwood in the middle Space around triangles: leopard wood. The triangles are separated with a thin layer of… (edited) read more

Necklace I'm making for a friend's birthday ^^. Epoxy already added, just waiting for it to harden now. I took apart old watch movements I had for practice and used the more interesting parts of them for this. After epoxy is finished just need to screw in the hook for the necklace itself.

Deep pour epoxy resin. Much hand saw to avoid discoloration. 8 more cut and need sanded, green block needs cut.

Starting an arts and crafts business. I know there are so many of them but I truly love anything to do with art. I would love any support or suggestions from the people already doing this. I created a little logo to start and will update a better one later. I'll be working with epoxy resin,… read more

Here's some bones I printed and painted for a local Oddity fair I was able to attend! On the boar jaw to the far left, I used epoxy putty to sculpt some little mushrooms! 🍄 I intend to start printing more bones to make into jewelry!

Not mine but I definitely wouldn't mind having such❤️

after oreo announced the star wars cookies, i knew i'd need to figure out how to keep a darth vader one around forever - thus began my experimentation with epoxy resin - and i'm proud to say that the final result, after several rounds of testing, is beyond sithtastic

Just finished cutting to size and waiting for the epoxy to harden. Time to sand and pin it.

Did an inlay and cut everything by hand

It's not a complete failure if you learn something right? Lots learned in this attempt. I had some resin that was about 2 years old and decided to use it up.

This has potential to be a really fun artistic avenue

And I just had this exhibited at my first art gallery! The mediums here are clear epoxy resin, eggshell, and silicone. What do you think of when you look at it? (edited)

Epoxy Terrazzo

This is why we have to put warning labels on everything 😭

I repaired the heal of my boots instead of buying new boots. I used LOCTITE this go around after using JB WELD last time. Both where 2 part epoxy for plastic. The JB WELD was slick but held up well so I am wondering if the LOCTITE will do better in any way to the JB WELD. I guess I will be doing a… read more
Colosians 3:3 For your were dead, and now your life is hidden in Christ... I love this verse. Its so out there. And the "hidden" part makes life seem like an adventure. Like a treasure waiting for us to explore and find. 🤠

Some months ago I bought some epoxy from an outlet, I didn't know what to do so after watching some videos I decided to make keychains, the first ones are the most colorful, the later ones are those with the messages inside. What do you think? Have you used epoxy? If so, any recommendations about… read more

For a friend. It's made of wenge, purple heart, padouk and marble wood, then coated with epoxy

...but, it is worth the effort, lol. I love my Volvo S70, but after 27 years that dashboard was a rattling hunk of plastic. After much procrastination and a lot of epoxy, it is finally silent. (Fingers crossed this repair lasts. 🤞)

So I had some fun creating a small three outlet fountain setup in a concrete bowl with aquarium plants. I used three dragon stones, ADA substrate, epoxy resin, roots and superglue to create it. The plants are Anubias, Bucephalandra, Moss, Hygrophila pinnatifida and some floating plants.

Another order for a functional ceremonial dagger, this time with a sea witch theme. I know she likes octopi and I was given creative freedom, so I'm doing a Kris blade profile with a flamberge grind so long curves but a straight spine, then engrave suction cups like a tentacle. If my buddy can't… read more
