I tend to make amigurumi plushes for my son more than anything else. Sometimes I branch out to challenge myself to use different yarn or learn new stitches. This challenge turned into one of my favorite projects.
I was almost done look how far I've come but I just didn't have enough to make it all the way Now I have to buy a whole other thing of black yarn to make 1 stitch lol
With 16 days to spare! Never using this yarn again. Going in the nah pile with that glow in the dark mess from Amazon 😮💨

I couldn't be bothered for a couple weeks bc my yarn got tangled but now I'm back at it! I'm almost done with my first cardigan. Just need another sleeve and to sew in my ends. 🤗 I hope my sister likes it.
Using pink Romney/rose fiber for the first strand, as this is double ply, then in the second strand: a mixture of blue silk, red, orange, purple and brown highlights into a mostly gray alpaca that covers about 30% of the mix. It is maybe 1% sparkle.
So I ordered 4 ply milk cotton yarn online cos I was supposed to make keychains. But the seller gave me chunky yarns instead- in short they gave me the wrong order. But who Am I to complain? Chunky yarns are more expensive so I made sling bags out of it 🤣

What’s a good way to harden the yarn ? When I put stuff in it I don’t wasn’t it to sag or get stitched pulled carrying it around getting hung on something it’s single cord ployester and the trims are regular.
I don't like the shape of it. It's meant to be a liitle handy bag. I guess, i chose the wrong yarn as well, as this won't hold its shape. (Sigh..i need to redo this for the 3rd time..)
Made a whole batch of small octopus plushies back in June. Some were made specifically for a Pride event, others were just random color combos to use up yarn. Still have a few looking for homes.
Hat 2 in making and it's fun when you just watch a show or movie on Netflix
Made a little glowing one from fallout. Gonna try again with a different pattern and try to work in more of the glow in the dark yarn (pictured on 2nd pic), but for now he makes me smile. (edited)
I am still working on my son's backpack and plan on finishing it up before his birthday. What I once completely gave up on, will become a thing. I will be starting to crochet the sides and top tomorrow. Than I will make the straps and hook loop. After that I might have to get more yarn in the color… read more
