Mini Rant-Boots

I am an avid fan of thigh high boots and my two coveted pair have finally crapped out (They’re currently having surgery at the cobbler). I am SO frustrated at the lack of quality and corner cutting all brands seem to be doing with their thigh high boots. 1. vegan boots that don’t lace up seem to be a requirement. I cannot find lace-ups for the life of me. 2. They must be a loafer with pantyhose quality body cutting just below the ankle and chafing the foot thus offering NO ankle support while sausaging up the entire leg making it look like a disaster without even putting anything under them. I would happily play $3-400 for quality solid bodied vegan thigh highs for a 16.5 in calf if it meant I get a decade of wear out of them. I would even take 5 years at this rate. I paid less than $100 for the two currently at the cobbler and got years of use out of them. I purchased them 2015 and 2017. I get they want to be size inclusive and save money, but this is not the way. Let latex be latex and stop replicating it with rayon/polymide and making everyone’s life hell, please. Make boots solid bodied again.
