A Pair of Poached Pears

Here we took pears and poached them in different sauces. We did one in a mulled wine and the other in a sweet bourbon sauce. We then reduced the sauces and used the reductions to decorate the plate, as well as a cinnamon stick and some star anise. This was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Starting gym
