You have my sympathy, Sam. The liberal tax and spend political mentality of California can only result in economic doom. Unnecessarily high state and local taxes punish the employers and the wage-earners. Sprinkle in unprecedented federal money printing and federal spending and you get the worst inflation since the 1970's. Add to that the insanity of the monetary give-away rewards to the illegal invaders of our country, and you create a monster that spends much more than it takes in. The economic realities cannot sustain the continuation at the current insane levels. It's not complicated, it's simple economic mathematics (Econ 101). The smart and the able flee the state and the continuing political madness that accelerates the train toward the edge of the cliff and the subsequent nose-dive. Those smart and able people move to states that are less punishing to their hard work and the jobs they create. California has a larger economy than a lot of countries. Sadly, the state's politics are on the cutting edge of suicidal insanity. It's unfortunate for California, but the hard working people that flee the state are the only hope that the state has of pulling itself out of the deep hole that 50+ years of liberal madness has dug.
