Question

From the director of 2009's "Trick r Treat," Michael Dougherty takes a legendary creature from Ancient European folklore (Mainly Germany and Austria) and brings him to the big screen. 2015's "Krampus" is combines dysfunctional extended family dynamics with a sinister demon with sinister intentions.

A young man, frustrated by his family's disregard for once-cherished Christmas traditions, tears up his letter to Santa, not knowing the consequences that would soon follow. Eventually, Krampus begins punishing the entire family for their lack of holiday spirit.

Despite being classified as a horror comedy, Krampus is a terrifying Christmas film that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's definitely one of my favorite Christmas horror films.

I really enjoyed this movie, especially when I saw it in theaters. I lo e the atmosphere and the Krampus design. Overall, I would rate it a solid 9/10. It was funny, smart, and had a lot of interesting monster designs. Plus, the ending really throws everyone in for a twist.
