"Shark Infested Waters"

Its a really idiotic phrase. Like our fore fathers said america was infested with indians. The sharks belong in the oceans. We are the infestation. Ive been watching some of the shark week programs. It amazes me that all the survivors of shark attacks say they felt like it was a dream that they never though it could happen to them. To me that speaks of a mass dilusion epidemic. I mean what do you think is in that water gold fish or what. Almost every single creature that is big enough to see in an ocean can hurt us very badly if not kill us. Then why would you think it was so amazing a shark bites you. We are told lies that shark attacks are rare but 600 between 2000 and 2009 is not what I would call rare. If 600 airplanes crashed in that amount of time you probably would not fly would you. Yet 600 shark attacks in 9 years we say the odds are in my favor I need to stand on a foam board as it pushes me in from a short distance. The odds are in your favor playing Russian roulette as well you have a 5 to 1 chance of surviving. Try that im sure it will be a much greater rush than riding a wave for 50 yards. To me only idiots go into an alien environment where the native creatures are bigger faster stronger and think we taste like chicken. We don't even know what is down there less than5% of the earths waterways have been explored. They discover new species daily. Species they thought were extinct show up all the time. Maybe before we start trying to go to other planets we should figure out this one first.
