In the Twilight Glow
#art #poetry #writing #creative Beneath the moon's soft silver light, A mermaid swam through waters bright, Her heart ached for a love untold, A tale of passion to unfold. She sang her song, a siren's call, Echoing where the waves would fall, Her voice a whisper on the breeze, That danced among the heartsease. He walked the shore with steps so light, A seeker drawn by moonlit night, The ocean's edge, where dreams collide, Where land and sea in love abide. Their eyes met in the twilight glow, Two souls entwined in undertow, No words were needed, none could say, The magic of that fateful day. He took her hand, so soft and fair, And stroked her seaweed-tangled hair, Together on the sand they lay, Till dawn dissolved the night away. In love's embrace, they found their peace, A bond that time would not release, For in the moon's ethereal light, A mermaid found her heart's delight. By AJ
