My cat's new meds are a bit intimidating

The instruction packet says I have to wear gloves while giving it to him, and then seal the gloves in a sealed plastic bag before discarding. It says to do the same with his waste, but I worry cause we have 2 cats. I'm hoping using the same litter boxes won't cause our other cat exposure issues. I mean the only alternative would be to watch the sick one 24/7 and remove waste immediately, but that's not really feasible. The other worry is the long and scary list of side effects. Wish me luck, he starts the meds on the 1st.
