Glowing glass

Had an idea to use double exposure with different focus for this effect. I like how it turned out! Out of focus aura glow adds to the atmosphere. Have anyone here used something like this?

Confidence behind the lens

This is the first time I actually felt like I knew what I was doing with my camera. I did a long exposure so the neon lights would really pop like they do if you're walking on a dark night

Today's Pawsenger

This is Roger, and I'm transporting him to Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach for quarantine due to distemper exposure. Since I don't have dogs it's not a concern for me, which is why AALOC asked if I could do this for them.

I think what really destroys people isn’t heartbreak itself, but the consequences of being known. Someone truly saw you, and then decided you weren’t worth staying for. It’s not rejection; it’s exposure, the kind that makes you wish you’d never opened the door.

Nature is awesome!

Your brain doesn’t magically switch stress off when you look at a fern, but something real and fascinating does happen. The moment your eyes trace its repeating leaf patterns, your nervous system starts responding in subtle ways you rarely notice. That quiet pull is not imagination. It is biology… read more

Journey to Shelly Cove and back

Today, I rode my trike for about 21.5km and walked/hiked for about 2.5km. I actually thought I might skip my ride today due to forecast of possible rain, but I saw there was no cloud over the parts of my city I was planning to go, so I thought I'd be okay. Turned out I was right. It was an… read more

That's one way to welcome myself...

The first house I click on and it's this. I must have really been going through it than I thought in 2016. I'm not even going to say or show what the cat's names are. I remembered that I had the Sims 2 ultimate collection. Haven't played it since 2016, the worst year of my life and it wasn't… read more

Waterfall in California

Time lapsed exposure at night ( it's why you can see the Milky Way ) enhanced with shading, but no color editing. Can you figure out how made the waterfall pop? Also, 100% not AI, I don't bother with artificially generated images.

We’re All Just Trying to Come Home to Ourselves

Men taught to be strong. Women taught to be small. Both of us aching for connection but terrified to be seen. We’ve all inherited stories about what it means to be worthy, desirable, or “enough.” This is me peeling those layers back to look at how toxic masculinity, purity culture, and performance… read more

Exploring the edge between origin, and simulation

Perseids over Cassiopeia and Andromeda ☄️

On the night of August 12, my original plan was simply to photograph the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. I wanted to capture the meteors in a wide-field view around Cassiopeia and Andromeda. Exposure

The sun is bright (who knew? :) ) ... when I tell my camera in my phone to look at the clouds it changes how bright the sun is in comparison. Our cameras and screens are limited.
