My Gf is bisexual and we occasionally open up our bedroom to female friend of ours so my gf can "scratch her itch". Would you ever consider joining a couple for no stings consensual fun or do you think this is immoral?

Not immoral, but not for me. There is always someone jealous. 
Imagine being a girl just there to scratch an itch. 
Even if everyone says they are okay with it. They aren't. It's a powerplay. Buyer beware.

For most of us, it would be hard to. Jealousy being a big consideration as others have noted, it would require all involved to really be able to see sexual relations as a game of pleasure, before deciding to explore it beyond a team of two.
