I met this incredible girl in a random comment section a while ago, not by swiping left or right and since then, we've been talking non-stop. We've shared texts, calls, video chats, and movie nights. I never imagined someone with such different religious and cultural backgrounds could become so important to me.

What started as a simple comment exchange turned into something profound. We bonded over shared interests and learned to appreciate our differences. We argue sometimes, but we always find a way to understand each other. We take care of us and don't run away when things get tough. We listen, apologize, forgive, and grow together. We recognize we're human, that we make mistakes, learn from them, and move on without judging or taunting each other for our pasts.

Through all our conversations and experiences, we've built a strong foundation of trust and respect. We've learned that love isn't about perfection but about accepting each other's flaws and working through them together. We've shared laughter, tears, and countless moments that have brought us closer. 

I've found my person, someone who stands by me no matter what, and I sincerely hope you all find yours too. This journey has been unexpected and beautiful, and it's taught me that love can be found in the most unlikely places.

Found The One On Boo - My Last Post Here

I downloaded this app when recently moved in to my new city. I didn't know anyone here so I was thinking maybe I can make some friends this way, since I work remotely and didn't go out that much to meet people.

I browsed for apps whose focus were to make friends. Downloaded a bunch of them, tried it and evaluated usability (I'm a UX after all 😅). And ended up just sticking with Boo, since I loved their concept of "connecting souls".

I was around doing my things, recently ended up a long term relationship a few months ago, not looking for any romance since I was healing and also in charge of my adopted puppy who was very sick.

Then, on the first day I used Boo, January 14th, 2024, I remember matching with three incredible souls among others. 

Long story short: two of them became my firsts and still best friends here in my new city. The other one... Well, I feel it deep inside, he's the one. 🤍💫

We started talking about our days. Me about my little dog, him about his hospitalized father. We shared some support, as much as we could since we didn't really knew each other. 

Made several plans to meet in person, but never actually meeting cause there was always something (destiny works in mysterious ways).

Then, my little dog died after 10 days talking to each other. He was there digitally, just trying to comfort me. But I shut down. Didn't want to go out, respond, nor talk to anyone.

It took me some weeks for me to feel able to go out. He told me his father was out of hospital, what a relieve! And one day, without planning, we just felt like going to the movies. We both needed some distraction and rest.

It was the beginning of this beautiful love story that we're living right now. Dating about three months first; and as boyfriend and girlfriend almost four months now. 

I know it may not be the case for everyone. But just wanted to share with you that, it really happens when you least expect it. So my advise is to keep focused on yourself, be a better version of you everyday, so when the moment comes, you know you'll be ready to bring the best of you into any relationship (be it romantic or not).
