Exactly. Don't get me wrong. I don't celebrate any day, except for my own birthday. But people will make any excuse to remove God/Christ from anything. People use the lame excuse of it's just a short version, or an abbreviation of saying Christ, but it's not. An 'x' is not short for anything. Maybe it's a substitute for cross (as in a railroad crossing / x-ing), but that would be a stretch in itself. Using it as a substitute for Christ, is just blatant disregard for Him. But it's to be expected, I suppose. Again, I don't celebrate holidays, so i don't have too much say in the matter. But they just need to be upfront and say what they really feel. They want Christmas without Christ. Just like how most people want Heaven, the kingdom of God...but without God. People need to stop the excuses and be honest with themselves and others. Just my two cents. I'm done ranting. Lol (edited)
