Does anyone think that dating is hard these days?
I used to think dating was very easy when I was 18-19. I met my ex when I was 19. It was a Long-distant relationship and we had that on for 7 years until things happened. I’ve spent months trying to figure out what I did wrong there to make sure I won’t make the same mistakes twice, and I’m still trying. It’s funny because at 18, I believed I knew everything about dating and right now at 26, I have to admit that I am totally clueless about romance.

I very recently realized that I have difficulty receiving love. Creating a safe space for others comes naturally. Nurturing, listening, and comforting others is easy for me… but allowing myself to receive the same is extremely difficult. Does anyone else have issues with this?
