Judgement without knowledge

Almost daily, I am judged by people who know nothing about me. They don't know about my spine that is collapsing upon itself, or the heart disease, the dyslexia, the lack of an MCL or ACL ligaments and plastic knee call with 4 pins, the crippling social anxiety disorder, or even that I've now had 25 surgeries and beaten cancer 3 times. Yes I have a handicap license plate on my truck. All they see is a guy that managed to pull it all together for that moment and walk into the grocery store. But all anyone does is stare with angry looks, or make rude comments, all because at that moment I don't "look" handicapped. Today is my birthday, and it totally ruined my day, yet again...
