I hate this
I just want to be healthy, I want to be whole. Like a random baseball injury at 13 has left me in pain every day since wasn't my fault. I want to be able to walk around with my friends all night and not pay for it the next 3 days. Then I get a random ass blood vessel in my eye that bled and the… read more

Invisible disabilities
Hey guys just a quick question: I find it difficult to find a partner of any kind due to my disabilities, all being invisible, don't attract the disability fets (which is a good thing as I have seen how some of them act). I am trying to find a way to neutralise this weight about my neck, and heart;… read more

Is being honest about my disability affecting my matches?
People in their profiles say they like people who are honest and genuine. So I decided to be upfront with my low vision and inability to drive or be economically productive and apparently all women I match with 29 to 49 within 50 miles of me swiped no? Either that or I'm more repulsive than my… read more

Heatwave
Having no money, no transport, no one to visit, it looks like I'm going to be staying in my flat for the next week and the only people I'm likely to see are working for Deliveroo. I miss having friends and family close by, now the closest is 50 miles away.

We're stronger than we look.

Disabilty?
One of the hardest things about being disabled is staying positive. The spasms and pain hit, and suddenly the world shrinks... your friend pool gets smaller, and the ability to get out there does too. But there's always hope — that has to be the Viking soul in me. 💪🛡️

Doctors fun
If you don't like the doctors, don't get disabled! Still goofy even after a lumbar puncture and a csf leak and a blood patch (edited)

Willing caregivers?
Are there even any willing caregivers out there looking for a partner? I've seen like 3 healthy interabled couples online but that's it... I fear people don't have the patience to be caregivers anymore...

How does your disability affect your dating? What accomodations do you wish apps had to help your search?
Hate when I can't remember if I've taken meds yet or not
Cause the memory of intending to take them is the same as actually taking them. So do I take more and risk feeling awful from the extra sleep meds Or do I wait and potentially not fall asleep until wayyy later than I'd want to
Happy Fibromyalgia Awareness Day!
Wearing our color purple! Almost missed today ironically due to Fibromyalgia flareup. Fighting every day.

Hi, my name is Cassie and I have Epilepsy.
If you are reading this, I am very happy I have had epilepsy ever since I was a little girl and would appreciate it if someone took their time and effort to take me as I am. My name is Cassandra Bartlett and I have epilepsy seizures, not afraid to say it ever .
feeling guilty for not being as social
Man, I feel bad for these moments where I've just gone off of the app. Social anxiety and just generalized anxiety in general have been messing with me a lot, add in a sprinkle of auDHD and you get procrastination responding to people. I apologize to anyone I've accidentally ghosted. I didn't mean… read more
dating w/chronic illness
honestly weeding people out who don’t understand my conditions is the easiest part of dating but not having the mental energy to even text people back or even just speak out loud sometimes is the hardest. like i only text 2 people on a regular basis (my mom and my roommate). like i wish everyone… read more

Finding my person
When I'm honest about my conditions, people back away. They see someone lesser than because I can't do all the 'normal' activities. I used to love hiking. Unfortunately, my body can't support that activity anymore (among some others). I'm learning about myself and the world around me still. I… read more
