Any Advice for a Newbie?

I've just started working out and building cardio. I'm feeling a bit lost. I hope to eventually have my entire body toned, but that's kind of the end goal. I do need to be careful regarding my core because I have a physical disability. Does anyone have any advice that they're willing to share?
