Storms have knocked out my power but the power station cart i built is keeping me comfortable.

I enjoy DIY projects and recently became interested in alternative powers like solar and power stations. I tried my hand at building my own beginner friendly cart. Worked out well and has helped me in outages. The smaller unit is a gift for my mom. Anyone else interested in alternative power?

Living the offgrid life in Central Alabama. 5.5+kw in panels, hybrid MPP solar 2400w charge controller + 80amp Ampinvt CC hooked to 2x 12v 200ah LiFePo4 batteries. Water captured by a fiberglass satellite dish mounted on top a 330gal IBC tank.

So I already have one but am trying to build out a infinitely expanding system. But am severely limited by the 600watt input. Any suggestions on the type of upvolter/booster to use for the xt60 connectors to battery? Any suggestions on the mppt controller for the in-line power going to the battery… read more
