Wire wrapping

I recently took up wire wrapping. I'm currently going through grief while bad news after bad news is just hitting me lately. But once I was wire wrapping, I finally was able to just shut it all out and be. I'm very proud of how my first few works turned out even if they are flawed.

Redhood costume

Been working on this all week. Still definitely need to tweak a few things, but decent for my first attempt/version (trying to figure out something for that wire)

Self made fuzzy wire basket of flowers

Math and geography? Not my thing but I can tell you how to wire a heated dog bowl or make a batch of shampoo

Wire

My very first graphical art endeavor from years ago.

This represents my Inner child I preserved and hid from the world but not myself, Guiding me the Tiny Warrior Through the illusory soul school and testing ground we can life or the human experience. I tried to create the Hermetic " As above so below, as within so without" while hinting at multiple… (edited) read more

The Ride

It took 700 miles, and more mountain passes than I could keep track of, but finally, the Wall came down. I stood beside my bike, in the middle of an empty road, cradled between two vast mountains. And there was not one other person besides myself. A thin strip of tarmac strung like telegraph… read more

Settings

I'm doing spray arc welding with 260 wire feed and 27.8 power, and I've tried slow and fast and turning up the settings, but everything I'm doing a 1/4 inch tjoint, I end up undercutting and there being empty melted areas above the weld. And advice or settings I should try? And it's a Lincoln… (edited) read more

They called the wire peace. She was never a noun to cage — only process, coiling past it. Venom isn't rage. It's precision the wire never accounted for.

Fuzzy Wire Flowers

My mom made these for my cousin's wedding. She figured she'd be waiting forever for me to tie the knot.

Need a new project idea

Made 80+ hand painted one of a kind earrings/keyring charms but ive basically ran out of my base shapes so I need a new project to start while procrastinating getting good photos of each pair of these to post online. Im thinking maybe something with polymer clay? Or maybe beads/jewelry wire 🤔

Had a pain free night last night and decided to make my niece these earrings

Okay for my first time wire wrapping. It was a PAIN though. Pretty sure I used the toughest wire to work with accidentally. 😂

Handmade Craft

Tonight's creation: A wire keychain made without glue 🦋🥕🍒🏵️

Another 20 minute craft with a practical use.

I've added photos for anyone who is interested in trying to make simple wire wrap headbands with embellishments. I've made this for the manager who liked the moon themed headband for the work party I couldn't attend.

Remind me

The next time I decide to make something that requires actual floral wire to tell myself to F off lol wedding present for some friends.

Learning and Practice

Learning and practice are the essence of the Buddhist way. The mark of practice is a lessening of the kleshas, or neurotic thought-patterns. In mindfulness practice, your concentration is a very thin, sturdy wire going through all your clouds of thoughts. The practice of going back to the breath,… read more

Husk Machine (I drew inspiration from The Adeptis Mechanicus in Warhammer 40K)

[Verse 1] Skin made of chrome And fevered wire I woke in a vise Inside a funeral choir My teeth click code My spine runs black A second heart Keeps calling me back [Pre-Chorus] Hear the stitches sing Under dead moon glow Every pulse I own Starts to rot and show [Chorus] I am the husk… (edited) read more

With fires happening so often these days, my imagination decided it was time to learn some basic electrical knowledge.

So I brought in my older brother, an electrical engineer, to teach me about wire sizes, power ratings, and outlets. You know, just in case I ever have to deal with an inexperienced electrician. My mum likes to tease me that after repairing the water pump, changing light bulbs, grouting tiles,… read more

No it’s not photoshop…lol. Just some chicken wire spray foam and LED light strip, and my trusty Onewheel.

Through the looking glass

There is a small wire hole in the floor that they both have been spending 20+ minutes a day staring into together. I think the white rabbit is trying to get them to go through the looking glass 😂

Its getting there

Sound design is almost done, and the "red wire" is set for 80%. Do keep in mind that bass does not really transfer that well on phones and my poor poor speaker set.

Wire Crochet Lantern Pouch

Tried crocheting with wire to make this little LED lantern. The colors are embroidery thread. It was fun, but rough on my hands.

What item have you embarrassingly over paid for?

Not once, but twice, I paid $80 for a phone charger cord. $80 for a wire, a single wire. 10 years later, I'm still annoyed by that.

First eve in new lake

Yesterday I had to try the new lake out with my pike rod and big lures. First spot I stopped by and tried out a monster was nibbling on my big tail softbait, and i got her to really strike on my big perch softbait. Sadly she spat it. Second spot was this beautiful little bay where I used the perch… read more

Question

So I am taking apart a toss out frame and was pulling nails saw than they have what looks like a small copper wire soldered on side where threads go. Any one happen to know what that's about? (edited)

Wolf quartermaster HQ

So I just restored a wolf quartermaster drill. These were produced by an English company called wolf that was baught out in the 1980s and started in the 1900s I believe. It was running when my neibour brought it over however it wasn't smooth. Originally painted a light green the quartermaster was… (edited) read more

Not Safe, But together

Love is temporary… but walking on an electric wire together? That’s commitment 🐒⚡️🤣

I finished with the base of the headband, need to clean the other side of this moon and tomorrow I'll have to visit a sewing supply store to buy some thinner gold wire to fill this up with beads.

So the silver and gold crystal chains are literally different densities so the headband looks a bit loose, but it'll work for the purpose I intend it to work.

Some dude high on something sees this and then goes around trying to steal copper wire from every single cactus

Anyone Can suggest a price for each of this?
