So, I'm an editor. Usually the person someone dreads handing their work off to. That's why I want to make this post. That idea you have for a book or a poem or a script? Write it. Don't write it with an editor in mind. Write it for yourself. Don't worry about your grammar or your spelling. That's what second drafts and editors are for. Get it out into the world. (edited)
