It's quite boring when art professors only ask you to draw out these miniature marble statues. I find it much more exciting to take those statues and draw them out into a full work of art. I saw this statue and immediately had a vision of what I wanted to have on paper instead of some boorimg drawing that was the same as everyone else's in class. After all, college is supposed to allow you to reveal your true self and have the world see it. What's the point if you're just told what to do and you're expected to 100% comply with it?
