I remember the time I accidentally got one of our party members killed not through anything I did in game but from overthinking the DM's story.

He said we had to get some important people out of town before assassins arrived and that we had five minutes to do so.

Me being the bright spark that I am said "we should probably protect them as they go, a lot can happen in five minutes"

Nothing was going to happen, he hadn't planned anything, but he changed his mind after I said that

I've had some fun moments, bit one that always gives me a chuckle is when i lost my foot. I was playing a full blood orc, that was of average height but wide and built like a truck. Needless to say, he wasnt all that smart. We had just cleared a camp of undead and started looting. While my party decided to search the bodies, I heard the dm mention that there was a chest. So i wondered over without telling the party and found it to be locked. Long story short, I put my foot through the chest, triggered a trap(cuz who looks for those?) and suddenly found both the chest, and my foot to be missing.

So my bard/warlock was at a tavern. Rolled a 25 on the seduction. They start heading upstairs. Rolls a 34 to steal something from someone on their way up. Rolled a 100 for a magic item. It was a cloak of flight😂😂😂😂
