Just finished, at 1:30 am, a wonderful D&D oneshot with my close Friends.
I truly feel blessed that we've been able to play my campaign and affiliated stuff almost every saturday evening...

I'm glad to have my Friends and I'm proud af of my work as a DM. Getting compliments After the session Is over Is Always refreshing.

Here's how It ended:

As in, what's the class that as a DM, when you see it, you're like ".....I truly hoped I wouldn't have it in the party" 

By the way, I'm not talking game balance necessarily: it could just be a personal grudge against a specific class!

For me it's the druid. I really, REALLY don't like dealing with hordes of animals or the sheer weird versatility of it - it creates fun situations but sometimes it becomes incredibly difficult to handle the weird ways of how a druid can discover or fight things 🤣

What's your least favorite class to DM to?

Just finished another session where I was the DM and may have made the puzzle (a Heist to get a treasure) too hard, the party split leaving one player (red) face 2 face with the final boss of the session (green) 🤣🤣

Surprisingly no one died 😅

After a month of back and forth, we finally managed to plan a session, and I couldn't be happier. Last one ended on a sort of a cliffhanger, meeting their first "boss" (ragtag level 3 party), now I can finally show what I've been cooking up for them from the start. 💀

We are looking for players to join a new game who lives near Delco/Riegelwood North Carolina. For in person game

Gameplay is mostly sandbox with player stories rather than save the world epics. Mostly theater of the mind but minis will be pulled out for boss battle most. Will be a year and a half long campaign.

Meet up are usually Saturday 1-8/9. Sometimes days may be pushed back to Sunday to accommodate things but not a usual thing. We have 3 players, one who is on and off. Want to get the group to 5 or 6. Any questions just message me. Glad to teach new player. Sessions 0 would start around June once we have enough people.

The kids on the street where I live discovered that I play tabletop RPGs and they always came to talk to me, ask for help and ask questions, I always thought that was cool, a lot of nerd vibes. These days I was asked to play a OneShot and I agreed, it was cool, everyone had fun. However, now the opportunity has arisen to offer them a table... I am in a moral dilemma as to whether this is right or wrong due to the fact that I am already twice their age, are adults in the children's circle a problem in this scenario?

Hi guys, first post! This is Pascal! The amount of work I've put into her as a character is endless 😭💛 She has an entire astrological chart alongside an explanation for each sign and how it correlates to her personality! 

Short summary: She's a feylost homebrew rakshasa tiefling! The Feywild permanently altered her appearance, which is why she's so colorful. She's a wild magic sorceress, later to become a druid after leveling and gaining more wisdom! Her starter wisdom is 5, she has no idea what she's doing :D Leaving the feywild altered her memories! So she survived on her own for quite a while before being found by a kindly stranger who helped raise her 💛 

I have commissioned art of her from a friend but the app doesn't allow multiple photos, or if they do I have my figured that out TvT

I got a cool char idea for dnd. So my persone have no arms at all. But a custom chest plate made for her that was made from the body of a beholder so it comes with 6 gauntlets that hold on to her chest plate in different ways. And she have learned the mage hand spell so expertly that every 3 or 4 lvl she can use 1 additional gauntlet now the gauntlets have the beholder eyes embedded in them so she can use the different rays but only once per long rest... but she can still use the gauntlet to hold or even attack with small weapons like daggers and short swords. They could also use small shelds. 

Now I know the mage hand can't really attack but the mage hand spell is just inside of the gauntlets so that way she be more usefull...... 

Can I get some dnd player and dm input. (I only ever played 1 campaign)

I am trying to find a loophole in casting spell.

If you were to make a D&D character of YOU, what class would you be? I'll also say we can say a race other than human.

I would say I am a changing bard.  I seem to be able to fit into a large variety of people, but my true nature is seldom seen (or allowed to show).  While I am decent as singing, I have always thrived in the support role. I would be the one cheering on those who could do a task better than I.  I collect lore and gossip and tell both with a flourish and flair. I can tell you of a random niche history fact, the ancient lore of the surrounding lands, and the gossip about the couple about the blacksmith and tavern owner's wife caught canoodlng in a field from two towns down.

I really want to actually play *whine* I have so many characters floating in my head.  Such as:

-Bria Beestinger, burlesque bard (she is the oldest and has the most developed backstory)

-Jal (pronounced gel)- goo druid. She is a sentient gelatinous cube formed into a body of a woman by an insane wizards who wanted to make the perfect companion. Her best friend is a pet rat. All her beast shapes are goo versions of said creature

-Katome- half-orc warlock. Her atron gave her an emotional support hell hound for her anxiety. It has a glamour to make it look like a large Rottweiler. He is the bestest boy

Strum: a dodo kinku bard who speaks with Morse code via his hand drum

Wampus of the Lanes- young male tabaxi rogue who is searching for his missing sister, Peaches. They were sprayed when they were very young kits (also, 100% base off my cat)

I've been toying with this character concept of a true neutral cleric/warlock whose actions are determined by an ongoing feud between his deity and his patron.  I think each round the character effectively has to roll initiative twice to see which prevails that round.  What do you all think?
