You knkw when you create a whole world that your friends would love playing in and set up a hauntingly beautiful story arch... then you cant play for a whole two months because scheduling is IMPOSABLE!!!

DnD adults have it rough!

A D&D underground dungeon with a more sinister story that goes deeper. A mad scientist with demonic powers or a cult trying to bring back something Eldritch? What is BBEG's better idea for this campaign.

Because I have a feeling some of you might find this as funny as I do after I made the connection. 
I'm currently playing some D&D with a group of people I go to therapy with, but one of the players is playing a black Tabaxi, great old one Warlock. 
And if you happen to Google the name of HP Lovecraft's cat, you'll understand why I'm finding it hilarious and can't take them seriously anymore. 
It's horrible, but hilarious considering the context.

I'm getting ready to play DND 3.5 and using a character class from Miniature Handbook, the healer. Never played one before.

The concept is rather cliche. My character is adventuring to look for his parents. His parents were respected merchants and vanished without warning one day. He now traveled the land to understand the world,find his parents and do what good he can.

What is the spell I can learn?

My DM says i cannot prepare or learn any kind of spells. 

So if im an evoker, does that mean I only learn evocation spells. 

But I want to learn some necromancy and abjuration or other school.

I nvr knew being a wizard isn't easy.

Joined my first campaign last year

The kids on the street where I live discovered that I play tabletop RPGs and they always came to talk to me, ask for help and ask questions, I always thought that was cool, a lot of nerd vibes. These days I was asked to play a OneShot and I agreed, it was cool, everyone had fun. However, now the opportunity has arisen to offer them a table... I am in a moral dilemma as to whether this is right or wrong due to the fact that I am already twice their age, are adults in the children's circle a problem in this scenario?
