Lupis Cake
Lupis cake is a traditional Indonesian food made from sticky rice doused in liquid palm sugar with a little coconut sprinkled and is triangular in shape which is delicious to eat as a snack or even an alternative breakfast. Lupis cake have been around since the Dutch era and have developed into a typical snack that is famous in several areas such as Jakarta, Lumajang, Pekalongan, and various areas on the island of Java. Among Javanese people, this cake is known as "lupis" which means "bound." The hope is that by enjoying lupis made from sticky rice, cultural solidarity and unity can be created. (edited)
