Walmart
The epitomy of greed- No other company has as many employees on welfare as Walmart. Walmarts -profit- last year were $150 billion, up 3% from the year before. Walmart cut labor and replaced cashier's with self checkout. They put people out of work, and make the customers work harder. Increasing profits- Now they are charging people to use those self check outs Making the customer work and now -pay- more for their products, which have all increased in price due to inflation as well... Has any of that money gone to improve these stores for the people that use them? Or did all the money go up to the top? Ask the CEO worth 300 Million Making $25 million a year, 1000 times higher than any other employee, this is the guy that gets paid that much money because he approved the idea to charge people for their own checkouts. He gets paid that much because he helped figure out that if you only pay employees a certain amount and keep them under certain hours, you can get them approved for government assistance to help cover the rest of their bills. Yeah, they figured out how to get the employees, to pay for themselves...and somehow we accepted this? You see how stupid it is? I'm just amazed how people don't care they ruined America, and helped expand the wealth gap, by pulling out what money the lower class had left, replacing our healthy meals with mass produced chemical powder made meals, and the products that help make our lives more enjoyable with cheap Chinese knock offs. I can't keep stressing this enough. Stop shopping at Walmart, abandon the Amazon, ditch fast food restraints, and search out options that support the community and not the monopolistic 1% It's gonna take.more work, but the results will come..and be way better for our future generations.

I stopped shopping there years ago, have nothing I need. It's sobering when you can't eat 95% of food on the shelf and very few restaurants. I buy all my supplements for a local source, friends for years with the owner. My gym isn't a chain, smaller locally owned. Not possible on all fronts though.

Walmart actively pays shite wages and will tell their own employees to apply for government programs. I have no problem with government programs. I do have a problem with the Waltons not having been eaten yet.
