Why do people match with you then ignore you?

As a girl who sends some likes, and who’s had a decent amount of mutual likes, I can say that the ghosting occurs when both parties just don’t find each other interesting enough to put in the work to dig further. This is why it’s crucial to fill your profile with as much info as you can. I ghost when matches don’t have interesting enough profiles to let me be curious enough to keep the conversation going. It’s also really important to follow up if you really want to keep talking to them even though it seems they’ve ghosted you. Maybe they’re just busy with real life and got distracted, who knows? I have been left hanging most times after asking a question. And even if they answer, they don’t, in turn, ask something about me, so I assume they’re not really interested in continuing the conversation. I also think it isn’t really a nice match anyway if the conversation doesn’t flow naturally. (edited)
