What's so hard with saying bye?

If after a couple hours/days of chatting back and forth and you can't just say good bye or sorry it's not going to work out... I hope you get that same treatment in your near future. I totally get it if one was giving you bad vibes and you're concerned for your safety but when you're just going over likes/dislikes and start talking about the Superbowl halftime show and poof you disappear it's just messed up.
